The Central Imaging and Flow Cytometry Facility (CIFF) at the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) is a state-of-the-art core facility dedicated to providing advanced imaging and cell analysis capabilities to the research community.

CIFF offers a comprehensive range of technologies including light and confocal microscopy, super-resolution imaging, live-cell imaging, and flow cytometry–based cell sorting and analysis. These platforms enable supports cutting-edge research in cell biology, developmental biology, neurobiology, biophysics, microbiology and related fields.

The facility promotes collaborative learning and technical excellence by offering hands-on training and experimental design, consultation.

By integrating innovative technology with biological discovery, CIFF plays a vital role in advancing understanding of cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying life.
